The physics league would consist of monthly rounds (about three per quarter).
In each round a physics challenge will be posted on this website, and will have to be completed within another week.
Challenges will consist of real-life problems that will rely on accumulated physics knowledge
- similar to Physics
Olympiad problems (see below).
The solution will be discussed in a pizza meeting during the week following the end of the challenge.
The best solution will receive a symbolic cash prize
of $50. Special prize will be given for the best lower classmen (Frosh,
soph). In case of several 'best solutions' a raffle will decide the
winner. Prizes to be given out at the pizza meeting.
